Beaut news in today. My co-creator, Simone Kain, has been announced as 1 of 100 mentee scholarship recipients with Inspiring Rare Birds! You little ripper! Inspiring Rare Birds, is a global hub supporting Australian female entrepreneurs.

The scholarships, funded under the Australian Government’s Women’s Leadership and Development Strategy, are aimed at female business owners in regional areas, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, women from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and women from low socio-economic backgrounds. The scholarships will match recipients with high calibre mentors to help them grow their business and be successful entrepreneurs.

“I’m looking forward to being challenged by my mentor. When you’re challenged it really makes you think outside of the square and come up with new and innovative solutions for problems that you may be facing”, Simone said, “Ben and I are wanting to expand George the Farmer’s reach. The assistance that we’ll receive through this fantastic mentoring scholarship will provide us with the tools to help implement the required changes. We want every child in Australia to be learning about food production and innovative careers in agriculture.”
